The Hundred Years War: A People's History by David Green

challenging informative reflective medium-paced

4.5

An excellent overview of the effects of the Hundred Years War. The chapters on women and national identity were particularly useful and thought-provoking. Green does have a tendency to repeat the major points of each chapter several times which gets a bit tiring -- I noticed this particularly in the chapter on prisoners of war.
