Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

4.0

Glamping, stars, bears. This book is so full of twists and turns and the unexpected. Unpredictable, quirky and beautifully written. I enjoyed reading about backpacking and the wilderness, and what can be worse for two estranged former best friends than the idea of love hanging over their heads throughout their trip? Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the mountains after a glamping incident gone wrong, forcing themselves to face their past feelings towards each other, making them questions what happens when the former best friends realise the depths of their feelings towards each other. It is a delight to read, as they navigate their way to a stargazing party, and secrets are revealed under the night sky. Zorie finds courage in trying to live a life without concrete plans, realising that while things happen beyond expectations, they are not always that bad.
