I absolutely devoured this book! Everything about this series is immaculate. I adore the characters, the humor, and the expansive world-building and magic system. Jarek and Romeria's banter had me grinning like an idiot in public. The plot is INTENSE in this newest installment. The stakes are higher than they have ever been. I had to scrape my jaw off the floor a couple of times throughout the story because of how intricate the plot became.
We are introduced to new characters, tentative allies, and new POVs, all of which help add even more depth to this series. This book made me feel a whirlwind of emotions. And that ending!! That cliffhanger ending was ILLEGAL!! I need the next book!
