Another Coban audio book I listen to while commuting during the week. I think this is my favorite so far. In fact I found myself wanting to go places alone all week so I could race through it! Detective Donovan gets clouded by nostalgia at times, but I think that's what makes her one of the most authentic characters HC has ever created. For books that could be considered dimestore thrillers, this author has a knack for making subtle social commentary. And I definitely like the one present in this book.
