quite possibly the worst experience I ever had reading an Alien(s) tie-in novel. And I've read like 6 of them by now. It's got everything: military worship, a complete mismatch with how the xenomorph hive functions in basically every other Alien(s) Thing ever, , sexism, generally juvenile writing, every character is kind of a caricature, and the Also for no discernible reason to justify the misogyny? just. ugh.
