Cendrillon: A Caribbean Cinderella, by Robert D. San Souci

4.0

Folklore entry

Published in 1998 Cendrillon is a Caribbean Cinderella story told from the point of view of the Fairy God Mother, Nannin. I enjoyed the retelling of this story. The story has French phrases used throughout the story. A glossary is in the back of the book to help the reader with pronunciation and understanding the words. This book would be a great addition to a multicultural lesson or a a unit on the various versions of Cindreella.
