These Two Wrongs by Julia Wolf

i feel like every time i remember this series i find a new book is out which is convenient timing for me but this book was cute like it’s for sure more of a relationship focused book than character but i don’t mind like the main couple are cutesies together and i love love the main girl and how she banters w the main guy but also like this girl doesn’t give a fuck she won the idgaf wars i love her. i wish there was more to her character w her insecurities about her body like it was a constant issue for her throughout the book but it isn’t really focused on or developed rather it’s like she feels self conscious w what happened w the main guy but then he makes her feel confident in her body bc he’s w her yk but i wanted more like how she learns to love herself that would’ve been great character growth for her. tbh the main guy had a lot of character growth i feel we get more his individual story w his family and his abuse which is interesting and does a lot for his likeability bc he makes dumb choices but he’s complex like i get why he did that and all that. i like that he’s apart of the cool group but he’s more nerdy but still charming like nerdy people can be hot fr like he has sm charisma i love him. how he got together w the main girl is a lil crazy to me tho like damn if someone told me i was terrible at sex i would just disappear but hey man wanted to learn which is kinda sweet i suppose and he did learn and then it got deeper than just sex like i love the contrast between his music taste and the main girl’s vs the main girl’s and her old crush’s like they like the same artists while the main girl hates her crush’s music but also what a coincidence her sister likes the music her old crush likes and they’re gonna have a book together ugh like these are the little details i love. no but i’m mad at the main girl’s sister bc how she gonna get w a guy that made mean ass comments about her sister’s weight i forgot whether she knew about it but hmm ew. also i hate that the main guy and his friends tolerate the weirdo freak charles like even in the last book he was mad weird why y’all being near him but also he’s in a suite w him but ew and him calling the main girl the ugly twin got me heated like why do authors make their villains so easy to hate like i have anger issues i can’t do this. but anyways the third act breakup was lowkey like early i was surprised but i liked it that way so it’s not rushed and i felt like the groveling was a good pace and bro the main guy gets me good like why he sending emails of voice recordings of him reading her his fav book series and then sharing little comments at the end like he’s sweet stop bring back sweet main leads i’m tired of these alpha male possessive shit (i eat it up every time) but like i love a good sweet main guy and then they get back together after he embarrassed himself and roleplays in front of the whole school like ok it hurt me second hand embarrassment but it’s sweet and the main girl deserves it. ugh i wish there was more stuff about the main girl even w her family bc we know she doesn’t like her family and parents but they’re not even introduced like only her brother is. love her tho even tho i get crumbs of the main girl’s past she’s such a sweet character especially love her relationship w her sister like they’re each other’s rocks warms my heart. the epilogue tho kinda threw me off bc it was the main guy’s sister getting married and the main couple having babies like the main guy being a professor makes sense bc he’s like nerdy and loves literature but the main girl is an accountant like i wish we knew more about her personal interests so the epilogue makes sense for her like she’s a mother i can see her liking that but idk i wanted more for her but again sometimes you’re just not passionate about things and end up doing a career and that isn’t who you are oo i’m relating to her a little too much rn but anyways the book is cute i enjoyed it i’m giving it like a 8.5/10.
