If you've read various issuings of Berger's essays, you might notice some overlap between them; for me, there's pleasure in the repetition and a lot to be found in his reflections. He loses me a little when he veers into the classicism that has never really interested me very much, or when he gets horny (his crooked lips can rarely resist revealing that he is so).
