Building a Storybrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen, by Donald Miller

3.0

2.5/5

The book has two very useful core ideas:
1- Always talk about your client and their troubled vs. perfect life. Make them feel special
2- Make your writing short and snappy

Good ideas. Super useful.

The issue is that the book keeps repeating those two ideas until your eyes bleed. If you read one chapter, you've read every chapter.

There were also many plugs for the book. I already have the book. That's how I'm reading it. It felt like a very out of place CTA.

So overall, it's not a bad book, but it's pretty repetitive.
