A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the Streets by James Bowen

4.0

What a sweet, heartwarming story! I don't usually go for those (not a fan of sentiment) but this book won me over fairly quickly.
What happened was that a friend wanted to buy me a present, and when she was stumped she put together two facts she knows about me: I love cats and I love books. Thus, this book fell into my hands. And I'm really glad she did, because otherwise I may not have bought this book for myself (see above feelings towards sentimental books). It just goes to show that reading out of your comfort zone once in a while can be very rewarding and that books are always excellent presents.
Although the writing style wasn't what I'll call spectacular, it was sincere and full of love. I told some of his anecdotes to my friends, and they all found them charming.
