Andre; A Tragedy, in Five Acts: As Performed by the Old American Company, New-York, March 30, 1798. to Which Are Added, Authentic Documents Respecting by William Dunlap

The play is based on true story so it gives it more meaning but I felt pretty bored. The same story could have been told in much shorter way, and I understand it was meant to be played in the theater but honestly, I wouldn't go to watch it. Another thing which bugged me was that it was written as a poem, in my opinion it would be much more accessible if it was written in prose. It was manageable to read but I wouldn't take up reading it if I needn't read it for my class.
