Anthem by Ayn Rand

5.0

"Now I look ahead. My future is clear before me. The Saint of the pyre had seen the future when he chose me as his heir, as the heir of all the saints and all the martyrs who came before him and who died for the same cause, for the same word, no matter what name they gave to their cause and their truth."

This was probably the most hopeful and purposeful dystopian book I've read so far, the style is definitely philosophical and needs undivided attention to its details.

Ayn Rand's objectivism really shows and proves itself to be one of the most beautiful philosophical concepts even to this day. If you're like me and don't want to commit to reading 1000 pages of Atlas Shrugged then definitely give this a read!
