Went into this book thinking it would be a work of fiction, but was pleasantly surprised that it was rooted in real-life events. Very interesting read on the U.S.'s longest-standing teen-run EMT program with blunt chatter about the history of racism (which includes pop culture/entertainment references) that still lingers in Darien, CT. Engaging from beginning to end. The only thing I wished was that it was a little bit of a longer read.
