Akhenaten: Dweller in Truth a Novel by Naguib Mahfouz

This book is interesting in its construction and story presentation- the retelling of the same events of Akhenaten's life through several viewpoints. It makes it both historical yet decisively fiction; a history through the Rashomon effect. Not to mention the writing is gorgeous- crisp and clean. Highly recommend if you love tales of ancient Egypt or just appreciate good prose.
