Grounded by Sarah Hualde

4.0

Just a girl, her cat and her camper van out exploring all that the continent offers her. That, and oh, the seeing who's going to die soon thing. Penny Nicols has a new job as a gofer at a coffee roasting company. She's okay with doing all the menial chores but less thrilled with how the owner treats his wife. When the Raven shows up, Penny knows it's time to step in.

What a crazy (in a good way) and unique premise! Penny's clearly been emotionally scarred by past experiences and yet she's still out there, with a strong work ethic and amazing resilience. For someone who hasn't hit 20 yet, she is remarkably mature. That's not to say that Penny doesn't read as a teenager, but she's definitely an old soul.

Grounded is a paranormal cosy with more of an emphasis on the cosy side. I'm so looking forward to more in this series.
