This book was cute. I wasn’t sure the plot had much depth to it, but it got more complex as we ventured along.
Zorie was a fun, relatable character who is a planner - so she had my vote right off the bat. I loved all of the planning jokes & lines. There were some pretty good quotes in this book. She has this weird ex friendship/relationship with Lennon, who’s sex store-owning Mothers are feuding with Zorie’s family. It’s kind of a secret as to why there’s a feud to begin with, then stuff starts coming out of the woodwork. Abandoned by her “friends” on a camping (glamping) trip, Zorie has no choice but to stick with Lennon to make it to civilization.
This is a fun read & I found the characters relatable & the plot touched on some topics that some kids eventually have to deal with. Quick read!
