Yes, yes... there are spoilers.
I am one of the rare people who does not read these books for the steam....it seems like people were outraged that there was a three-some and claimed they didn't see it coming.
By the time the joining finally came (I thought it would be more like the threesome poppy watched at the wolven bonfire, I was looking forward to it. I couldn't stand the thought of Cas and Poppy going at it again. I'm tired of her "bundle of nerves" and her "peaks." Lol
Honestly, there was so much foreshadowing about this, I thought maybe Cash and Kieran had done this sort of thing a lot before poppy. Poppy and Kieran were getting so close while Cas was away, I thought she might have to feed and end up having sex with kieran. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. I hate adulterers.
All joining talk aside, I did enjoy this book. I loved the setup of poppy versus her mother and really started to get into the mixed feelings that must be there.
