Thank you to the author for gifting me an eARC.
"wtf did I just read" in the best possible way.
The moment I saw that Meg Smitherman was writing a scifi-horror-psychological thriller(with a smidge of gothic romance) , I was 100% invested.
I honestly struggled to put this book down. The atmospheric writing had me feeling claustrophobic and on edge the entire time, like I was right beside Ami during her slow creeping descent into maddess.
I could have read this story for 1000 pages, but I'm glad it was delivered in a neat 120.
