🏒 dark college hockey romance
🤭 and they were roommates
🥰 brother's best friend
🤪 he bullies her
😳 rich guy x poor girl

This one ATE. Ugh I love Beckett and Evie so much. They're soulmates. They're forever. I enjoyed every single one of their interactions. The lonely boy and the jealous girl. They have my heart 🥺💖

Unfortunately due to a college housing mishap, Evie is left without a room. Unless she takes her brother's spot in Hellion Housing with Beckett since her brother transferred schools 🤭 yes the Beckett Anderson who's out to get her cause he thinks she exposed a little secret of his to his father that has his father now breathing down his neck.

Safe to say, it's not a peaceful arrangement 🤣 Beckett is determined to get revenge and bully her. But he's also been tasked by his best friend/Evie's brother to keep an eye on her. And keep an eye on her he shall. 🤭

Beckett was OBSESSED with Evie in his messed up way. He messed with her but ONLY he can mess with her. And he loved it when she fought back cause Evie isn't a doormat. She's been bickering with Beckett since they were kids. I ate up how addicted to her he was. He had his previous vices in substances but Evie was his new addiction and no one can stop him 😛 he was possessive and jealous af of Evie and crazy. I loved it.

His background was also heartbreaking. How his father shut him out and his step-mother was a monster who preyed upon him. 😭 I'm glad Evie was there to advocate for him. She always stuck up for him and called him out. He needed her. 🥺 But he also came to be super protective of her too.

I both melted and cackled when Beckett became such a SIMP over Evie 🤣🤣 the last part was absolute gold I swear. Beckett was a fool in love. He spoiled her and had his dreams for the future 🤣 He also kept unlocking new kinks when it came to Evie. I adored how much he *wanted* her, it was hot.

Evie was an amazing heroine. I loved her determination and sassiness. She knew exactly how to fight back. She knew how to poke Beckett the bear which I lived for! Their games were so entertaining. I loved her loyalty. She saw through Beckett and got to know the lonely guy hiding behind the walls. She was always there for him and stuck out for him.

I cherished their sweet soft moments as much as their chaotic fighting and their spicy side. 😛🫶

The third act conflict wasn't super drama filled really. I think the little grovel was nice and touching 🥺
especially that was when Beck turned into Mega-Simp making plans about their future babies and all bahaha
I'm glad Evie made Beck work for forgiveness (even if she already forgave him internally) even if it was a little misunderstanding. It's good to see her not let him get away with reverting to jerkhole status (*cough cough* unlike Lily with Cayden)

I could really go on about this book. Gosh I may just reread it soon for the giggles.
