I thought this was going to be more about ghosts and hauntings, but it is instead a story about people and relationships (specifically between women/girls and how misogyny and a need for male validation makes them turn against each other— along with implied queerness, of course) that repeat over time. Overall REALLY good and the way Theodora and Eleanor’s relationship changes throughout the story drove me crazy omg.
