Project Personality by Kelly Anne Blount, Lynn Rush

Can a cliche make a good book?
.
The answer is YES! And This book was the proof, the storyline was an utter cliche:
A nerdy girl who is so smart and spews random facts whenever she's nervous, she can't get in her target school because "she doesn't have a personality" and asks for help from the athlete, who has a tragic backstory that makes him keep people at arm's length.
What i really liked about the book was: 1)it was fast-paced, i finished it in one day, it was that good.
2) the writing style was awesome, it was really engaging.
3) the story was packed with drama that only teen books can contain, which was a nice escapism from reality.
4) the fluff, the book had some swoon worthy fluffy scenes which for me was a good depart from the loaded scenes in adult fiction romance.
There were some details i didn't like: sometimes there were some repeated scenes, like Hope getting anxious when talking to anyone, or when the Landon keeps wallowing in self-pity anytime he feels himself getting closer to her.
Honestly, that was a really good book.
