Absolutely phenomenal writing! This book is perfect for fans of LOTR, anyone who grew up on Eragon, or people who love high fantasy!
My favorite things about this book were the variety of perspectives from different characters, how each group’s story wove into the whole, the world-building that is complex and realistic without being confusing, and the pacing which kept the story flowing and didn’t feel like it dragged on.
With longer books like this it usually feels like a slog to get through, but this book keeps a good mix of exposition and action that never gets boring! Absolutely cannot wait to read the next installment in the series!
