The book depicts a tragic reality of how a man who devoted his life to his loved one is cruelly neglected when he needs the same care in return. I found the story sad but true, although not very enjoyable to read. It makes us empathize with the person who is ignored in his time of need and does not receive the gratitude he deserves for his sacrifices. Unfortunately, this scenario is not uncommon in many households today.
