White Trash Warlock by David R. Slayton

*dnf @ pg 125

- world building for an urban fantasy (in this cause suburban fantasy) is usually pretty easy, but I didn’t really get that in this book even to the point where I got

- though the tag line is that not all magicians go to school, perhaps that might have been more apropos seeing that Adam, Robert and the reader have no idea what’s going on

- while I don’t have an issue with authors including diverse characters, especially from cultures they are not from, but his characterization of Vic and his family rubbed me the wrong way
