Cazul Magheru by Mihail Drumeş
5.0
4.5 stars
Beautifully written, as it was expected from Mihail Drumeș.
The story was interesting enough to keep me captivated, although when I finished part 1 and got to part 2 I stopped reading it for a while because of the sudden change of pace and narration.
Another thing I didn't like was how spiritual the book was, although the protagonist's moral compass was admirable. The detailed psychoanalysis throughout the whole book was very enjoyable, and would be interesting to read for someone who's into psychology.
The characters were portrayed in a vivid and believable manner, and the protagonist was likeable, even though not entirely relatable for me.
Overall, I give this book 4.5 stars.
