Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris

2.0

I can now say I've read them all.

I very much liked the idea behind this book - after a three book series, jumping back to show the origins. Conceptually, it's sound and exciting. The execution, though - subpar.

I wonder, though: What is behind our fascination (as a society) - and borderline obsession - with serial killers like Hannibal? Puzzle that one out with me.
