I have been waiting for Adam’s story since I met him in Built to fall and OMG I am not disappointed !
This is the third book of Julia Wolf’s The Seasons Change series and Adam and Adelaide ‘s journey from best friends to friends with “almost” benefits to lovers is truly one of the best I have read.
But the road to marital bliss is a rocky one : how can you tell your best friend that friendship is not enough ?
It was already heartbreaking to see Adelaide lying to Adam because of feelings she thought were unrequited but seeing Adam lying to himself about the nature of his own feelings was so much worse !
But Adam is a complicated guy and I truly think that it had to be this way : Adelaide needed to become his world before she could become his love.
Like always, Julia Wolf tells us a story full of emotions with wonderful characters that I highly recommend.
