I’m still enjoying these books though I still don’t think that the mc is that redeeming. He goes back into the game of his own accord but then asks for his best friend to join him. His best friend is being given a salary but is skipping school and leaving his family for weeks at a time. Doesn’t seem very smart.
There was a lot more traveling in this book which I enjoyed seeing the different regions and cities of the island.
I think the ending concluded a bit quickly for my taste I wish there was more wrap up or mystery of what happened.
Chod claims he hasn’t been lucky and has worked really hard to get where he is and I think that is bs for the most part. I think he has hardly fell on hardships and has been given a lot very freely.
