Credence by Penelope Douglas

4.0

When Tiernan loses both her parents at 17, she is invited to live with her step Uncle Jake and his two sons Kaleb and Noah. Going from a life of privilege but no close family to a remote family that are extremely close is a big change for Tiernan and it takes some getting used to. She also learns some.. erm, lessons (?) along the way.

I'm sure if you have heard of this book you have heard about it's taboo nature. It is a spoiler so I won't explicitly say it but there are some quite spicy and questionable scenes in here that will make you ask yourself what am I reading but why can I not put this down?

As far as dark romance goes, this was good fun, quite wild and I had a great time which was a complete surprise.

I was a little disappointed with how it ended and could have done with a little more character development about one of the cousins. Overall though, this was great.
