First of all, I have to mention the illustrations because they are stunning! The characters are adorably designed and the scenery is amazing. Jason Pamment has a gift for using lighting to create epic visual effects. He has illuminated his pages with radiance!
I loved the subtle and dignified sense of mystery and wonder in this story. I also love how the meanings of certain discoveries where presented, the author has well employed the theory 'show, don't tell'. Great read!
