I don't know what number reread this is for me, but I have never written a review for it. I have been feeling a little nostalgic lately, and I thought listening to the Andy Serkis narration would be a fun change to consuming this loveable classic. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The Fellowship of the Ring on its own is a powerhouse. It's a classic for a reason. The story is unique, the world is vibrant, and the world building is the benchmark of 10/10 world building. Andy Serkis' narration made a great reading experience even better. He really encapsulates the energy of each character and has clearly recognizable voices for each. I absolutely loved this and can't believe I haven't listened to this sooner. Middle Earth is a world that's close to my heart, and I loved going back for this adventure again.
