Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.

I tried really hard to like this book - the premise was so interesting. But the execution was too poor and I found I really just don’t give a shit what happens. The characters all feel very flat and dull, the plot is plodding, and the spice is frankly flavorless and far too present. I’m not buying the romance at all.
