The Moon Sister by Lucinda Riley

4.0

This is the 5th book in the 'Seven Sisters' series, telling the story of Tiggy.

Tiggy lives in Scotland, looking after wildlife on a big, old estate. She's trying to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life, but first she must delve into her family history to discover who she is and where she came from.

Her search leads her to Spain, to the gypsy community outside of Granada's walls, where prejudice is prevalent and music in the veins of the people. Tiggy's grandmother, Lucia, has a flame inside, and is destined to be a great Flamenco dancer. At only 11 years old, her father takes her away from the rest of the family and they start touring to gain money and fame.

The story then follows the family as fortunes change during the Spanish civil war. Even through the violence and uncertainty, Lucia is steadfast in following her passions, always looking onto the next big thing.

While researching her family, Tiggy starts to learn how to develop her spiritual talents, becoming more and more who she was meant to be, helping her decide what she wants out of life.

Another great addition to the series, and as always, you feel like you're travelling yourself while reading this books. I cannot wait for the next two books in this series, and I'm especially looking forward to the answers to questions in the last book.
