13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do: Take Back Your Power, Embrace Change, Face Your Fears, and Train Your Brain for Happiness and Success by Amy Morin

This book was OK. The thirteen things that you shouldn't do are something I think most people know not to do, at least for people who have already read some sort of psychology book in the past. I would say this book is an OK starter book for being introduced to the world of "trying to be a better person". It is a good book for helping realize patterns of destruction, such as people pleasing, and so on. But I would not recommend this book for someone who wants to learn how to stop doing the things she lists. She gives great examples and the list is good, but she never really speaks about how to actually stop doing the destructive behaviors. She gives examples from other people and then says that's why you should stop people pleasing, but then she doesn't say how.

A good book for anyone who may just want to realize their "bad" behaviors and not so much for how to stop them
