Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow
1.5
Definitely not going to reread this. I understand it is a YA book and Kathleen Glasgow wanted to show the pains of being a young person with a difficult past, but there is so much wrong in the book. The main character is, in my point of view, a self-pity person throughout the entire story. She falls in love with a man that’s almost 10 years older than her and he uses and emotionally abuses her and call it love.
The main reason why i do not like this book is that young women are seeing this abusive story and falling in love with it, or falling in love with the character, wishing they were in her place.
I only gave it a 1,5 because the ending was the only part that I read without wanting to kill a man.
