Orlando by Virginia Woolf

“He who robs us of our dreams robs us of our life.”
― Virginia Woolf, Orlando

This Virginia Woolf novel is not like any of her other novels that I've read. Though it says "A Biography", it is in fact a work of fiction. The story revolves around Orlando(obviously), and it was titled the way it is as Orlando is the one who is telling the story. The pacing is quite interesting as it changes from slow to fast to slow to fast. You may be reading 10 pages or so and the story is not moving; then you'd be reading a page or two but a couple of years had passed. There are a couple of passages that you may need to read a few times over to fully understand.
