I FINALLY watched the movie and, as anticipated, spiraled into an obsessive state in which “Ultraviolet” blared through my head at all times and I felt compelled to read the book. I will say, I do prefer the storyline of the movie more!! Call me crazy!!! BUT, I think we get to see more of Georgia’s personality here, naturally, and I really enjoyed that. Call me crazy AGAIN, but I love a slightly insufferable main character. I mean, she’s much more relatable and realistic and, because this is like a 14 year old girl, her problems aren’t that frustrating or confusing or downright bad - she merely acts on natural human emotion, and I enjoy that!!! I think I’ll even read the others - they’re very fun, and I genuinely was laughing out loud!!!!

Some annoyances: we don’t have any foundation for this relationship and like no banter; Robbie in the movie is an angel and I don’t think this Robbie is the same at all; and why on earth is he (a 17 year old) falling for Georgia (a 14 year old) ?!? I mean, that’s a bit odd. I think that will be tackled in the next book (though it was slightly mentioned here). We shall see...
