The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson

4.0

JUST GIVE HER A MOOSE GODDAMNIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN BRANCH-

Okay, that wrapped up nice and pretty and I definitely enjoyed it. Not as good as the second book though, ranking wise The Vanishing Stair > The Hand on the Wall > Truly Devious.

The mystery is outstanding I will give in to that, the best I have read so far. The suspense could have been better although, I was speculating the murderer since the first half of the second book. But it really was insanely executed. Writing mystery books isn't easy, the amount of planning it takes and executing it is equivalent to solving the case itself and for the work Maureen Johnson has done, she deserves that 70 million dollars.

It lost a star for being a little boring in the beginning but it still kept you going. I really wished this would have ended in a cliffhanger but all the same, loved it.
