I actually really liked this book. It kind of reminded me of Dean Koontz and Stephen King (minus the cocaine rambles). I also liked the commentary on generational trauma. Slay.
Graphic: Bullying, Child abuse, Violence, Suicide attempt, and Murder
Moderate: Animal death, Body horror, and Gun violence
Minor: Sexual assault, Vomit, and Car accident
