This was the type of book I needed. Usually thrillers are something that can get me back into the swing of reading when other genres haven’t been grabbing my attention. I can see some similarities with “The Chain”, which I liked the premise of but not the execution. I think this was much better executed. I also appreciate that
this isn’t one of those books where the protagonist magically makes it out alive against all odds. I much prefer the ending we received.
