i don’t like to leave books unfinished bc i’m slightly OCD in that sense and it just bothers me to leave things open and not to have some sort of closure. i’m pretty sure you might find a metaphor about my life and relationships in there somewhere.
that being said: while i appreciate this book for its cultural impact and its realistically depressing portrayal of the 90s ‘singleton’ brainwashed by mass media, i’d rather die than finish this book.
