Widow's Point by Billy Chizmar, Richard Chizmar

3.0

COVER: It would've been nice if it wasn't for that "creepy" face that looks like it's been taken from a cheap Japanese horror movie.

PLOT: It starts a bit meh. A legend for a hunted lighthouse, a stupid man who goes to debunk the mystery. Shit happens. But I actually liked how everything went smoothly. Going worse bit by bit with his time there. I also liked the many stories and legends around the lighthouse. It made it feel a bit more real.

WRITING: The style was simple and easy to read. I really swallowed it for a few hours. The format was interesting. I usually don't like movies in this format but for the book it somehow worked out just fine. Made it more interesting, more simple to follow, and quicker to read.

OVERALL: I like the illustrations. They bring u[ the mood, set the more creepy vibe, and make the whole book better. It's not the best book out there but it works to kill a few hours.
