The Chaos by Rachel Ward

4.0

Chaos on New Years. Adam can see peoples death numbers, just like his mother. Not a gift, but a curse. Everyone has the same number, on New Years. Adam sees it at a sign to get the word out there for everyone to leave London. The chaos will happen on the first of the year. However, Adam isn't the only one sees chaos. Sarah a pregnant teenager, has a terrible dream of chaos and someone taking her baby into a fire, someone evil. But, what happens when Sarah finally meet the boy in her nightmares? What if the boy who she sees take her baby is the boy who will save her? Do Adam and her have a connection? What about Sarah's baby?
This book will take you on Adam and Sarah's difficult journey to get everyone out of London. Yet, will the authorities let them? No one is safe.

This was a great sequel to [b:Numbers|6609758|Numbers (Numbers, #1)|Rachel Ward|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1386036562s/6609758.jpg|6313339]. The book takes you everywhere and there's not resting. The writing is really good too, it's vivid. You see Adam struggle with his Nan, school and trust from Sarah. There's always something going on with him in the book. Sarah, like Adam, also has her own problems. She's pregnant and a run away child. She doesn't want her parents help. She struggles through finding shelter, taking care of her baby and trusting the boy who she has nightmares about because he just might save her and her baby Mia.

The only thing confusing about the book is if you aren't from the UK, you will see slang that will make you feel weird to see. But, it's okay because it gives the characters more personality. The nook has a great ending. I great ending that perfectly carries on to make you curious to read the final book in the series. The Chaos was a good read. Or should I say a chaotic read? Lol, too soon?
