This was a stunning conclusion to a fantastic series. It picks up about a month after the ending of last book as the MCs deal with their trauma and attempt to reunite.

I think one thing I loved was that the formula for any series is generally the final fight occurs in the last 30% of the book and things tie up quickly. That isn't the case here. The final confrontation occured around 50-60% and the remainder of the book we get to see each struggle.

Post birth of the twins we see Serena struggle with Post Martin Depression as well as the catch up of everything that happened to all of them. Typically in most books you get the MCs win then the epilogue is everything is better and happy. Here we see all of the MCs struggle with the trauma they've endured and come to terms with it. Serena even goes to therapy to get help.

I find this admirable in an ending and an epilogue.
