I really liked the character development presented in the book, but throughout the story too many things annoyed me to truly like the book. I appreciate that the author touched upon may complex issues like dealing with death, bounds of friendship, family ties and issue of abortion. However, none of the mentioned issues was dealt with in truly great detail, and the abundance of mentioned serious problems made me feel as if the authors only glides on the surface hoping it will be enough.
