The Chronicle of Golgotha Days by Sujith Balakrishnan

5.0

It is quiet difficult for me to write something for this masterpiece. Like, I seriously felt each and every word which the author penned. Abhaya, a sixteen years old girl was tricked by a boy, Babu (actually man) and she was left at the mercy of Guru. She was brutally raped each and every day. She was molested for not less than a month - each and every day.. even in that pain, she remained positive.. all she wished was, to meet her dad once and say her sorry for the mistake which she did and to confess that she's the reason behind this great mess. She could have run away but she didn't, for a reason.. (read to know). Abhaya tried remaining strong even in those crusial days. People did feel sorry for her but we're unable to help her due to Guru.. but one fine day, she met her dad. Her family.

This book has literally given me goosebumps down the spine and had made me sad. Though this is a fiction, but I know very well, many girls in India has been into such situation.. where they want to run away but aren't able to. I loved reading this book a lot and this has surely left a deep impact on my heart.
