Charming but not captivating
Zoe and her aunt seem like a lovely pair of people. But the lack of any real drama in the novel left me wanting.
I would sum it up as extremely inoffensive. The “crime” was tame for the cozy mystery genre and even the worst of the characters had their behavior excused.
There are no regrets about spending time with this novel but I think I’ll leave Everlasting as is.
