Finders Seekers by Gayle Greeno
3.0
I was wondrously surprised that I was fated to finish this book, much less enjoy it and give it a a three star rating! I picked up this book on a whim while waiting at the library, but it was more of a joke with myself at the time- a book about human/cat telepathic bonds? Of course I had to pick it up! Did I expect it to be any good? Not really, especially considering I'd never heard of it. But good it was.
Greeno's prose was a little too descriptive and flowery as other reviews have mentioned, but it didn't start to bother me until the end. As a cat lover, I absolutely adored the entire relationship between the human and ghatts (cats), especially how accurately Greeno painted the nuances of cat behavior. The story itself was alright, but the characters ended up making up for it. I think I'll actually be picking the next book up at some point down the road!
