The Last Armada: Queen Elizabeth, Juan del Águila, and Hugh O'Neill: The Story of the 100-Day Spanish Invasion by Des Ekin

Aside from several typographical errors, this was well written and organized. I love reading about such a dramatic event from the perspective of someone who lives in the country, as opposed to an American or a English person. I think that the perspective of an Irishman, especially when as well balanced as this book is, provides valuable insight into the events. He’s a good, conversational, funny writer and makes it read like a novel with all the conversations. I loved that he used direct quotes and paraphrases to benefit the reader.
