amazing! if you like the idea of most ya books but don’t like the follow through, then you’ll love this! she fixed everything i have abt fantasy ya. good amount of romance w gay women that doesn’t overpower the plot and complex characters (even unlikeable). just wish the political side was a little more explained/reasoned through? and i like that the sister who stayed in the castle is more of a monster than the firebird, but sometimes she comes across as too complainy. but no matter what this author should be only praised and helped bc if given the chance i believe she can write incredible things!!
